Amazing food~ during our trip to dc, our second place we ate at was mi casita and it ended up being our last restaurant we ate at before we left. There isn't much place to sit down if you are a large group but if you are able to eat the food fresh the food would taste even better. Ordering tostadas through door dash we're still pretty good but it was a bit soggy. But that is to be expected with the timing from ordering and waiting for it to go to your location. I highly recommend getting the horchata as it was probably the 2nd best horchata I ever had!! It is also budget friendly!!
Best food anyone can get. My coworkers are South American and Central American. They tell me that this location has the highest quality food in DC. Especially the tortas. They have tried many restaurants over the years in the dmv area. This location is in fact the best for Mexican cuisine lol I agree.
Convenient location. Seems like authentic mexican food. Very friendly customer service. Spoke to them in english and spanish and it was straight forward communication. There is indoor seating but it is limited and face masks aren't required. We ordered 6 tacos, a side of rice and beans. They added the green salsa and boy was that muy caliente! Lol. My daughter wasn't a big fan of the beans (she eats everything btw) so i think i rather come early on in the day and retry them. Tje tacos were delish but my son thought they were mediocre. Will be back to try different dishes.
Order the tacos, chicken, beef, steak. The tacos a made to order come with cilantro, onion, cucumber, special sauce, pick up only. The meal was hot, restaurant does have parking have to park in the street. good meal for a good price.
